Actress Pauley Perrette, a member of The United Methodist Church, narrates this documentary. Perrette is best known for her performances on the popular prime time drama, NCIS.
“A Killer in the Dark: An Extraordinary Effort to Combat Malaria” was created as a TV special to share the work of The United Methodist Church against this killer disease. The program, which originally aired on NBC affiliates nationwide in 2011, documents the daily struggle in Africa against malaria and highlights the work of Imagine No Malaria to wipe out a devastating disease that’s kills a person every 60 seconds, every single day.
