Churches

Imagine No Malaria is an effort of the people of The United Methodist Church to eliminate malaria deaths in Africa. Is your church ready to support this mission?

Here are some things we’ve seen churches do to raise awareness and money for Imagine No Malaria.

Sunday To Save Lives: Host a special service to support this ministry to eliminate malaria deaths. From scripture to the children’s message to worship graphics and a special offering, churches are dedicating one Sunday to stand together as a family in Christ against malaria. We have worship tools available to help plan your service.
Sunday School: Our mission to fight malaria is at the core of what it means to be Christian – to love one another by healing the sick and helping people in need (Matthew 25:40).  We’ve created Sunday school lessons from 1st graders to grown-ups that shows how this mission is important to our spiritual growth. Visit our church resources page for lesson plans.
A Special Dinner: Got plans for New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day?  Create an event that makes the day special and raises money. Dinner, lunch, brunch or an old-fashioned barbeque cookout, you can make a special day unforgettable. Here are some helpful event planning tips.
Special Events: Organize a golf tournament or a 5K race with proceeds going to INM. It’s really up to you. Here is a list that may help get your creative juices flowing.
